Sonja Pilkington is a qualified Chartered Accountant and registered BAS agent, who has spent a large part of her career in the auditing profession with large international audit firms such as BDO and Price Waterhouse Coopers, before moving into a role with Capricorn Society Ltd as a Risk and Compliance Manager.

Sonja has also worked in commercial accounting roles for the Independent Newspaper Group (South Africa), and a pharmaceutical company prior to that.

Currently, Sonja has a diverse range of clients for whom she performs bookkeeping and accounting work, through to completing both individual and business tax returns, ranging from small “one-man bands” and franchise organisations to medium-sized retail companies.

Dubbed the “Cash flow Queen”, Sonja enjoys the challenge of setting up business plans and budgets, investigating various scenarios to produce a detailed business blueprint, against which the business may monitor its results.

Sonja prides herself on her attention to detail and exploring various options to ensure the client gets the best possible solution through the application of appropriate systems and procedures integral to the performance of the client’s business.

Mike Pilkington holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting, CPA & is a Registered Tax Agent. Although he has auditing experience, his niche is in commercial accounting. Mike also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Having held senior accounting positions with companies such as Cool and Cosy and the Betts Group, Mike decided to take control of his future and invested in a franchise business, before rebranding and diversifying the range of services the business can offer.

Currently, Mike serves on the Boards of BUS WA Inc, Wanneroo Business Association as well as a  pending appointment to Changing Lives Australia. He served as Treasurer of the WA Road Transport Association Inc for several years.

Mike’s client base is exceptionally diverse, ranging from sole traders through to medium-sized enterprises with turnovers up to approximately $10m.

Working closely with the client, Mike has built an enviable reputation of accurate and timely reporting, including close liaison with company auditors.

Mike consults to several small enterprises ensuring their ongoing compliance from a GST, Payroll tax and PAYGW perspective. He is a Xero Silver Partner,  MYOB Certified Consultant as well as being a Saasu consultant.
